ADDC Seminar Overview

The Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care (ADDC) seminar is the required course for those pursuing certification as a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) through the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners (NCCDP).


This comprehensive training covers 14 dynamic modules designed to deepen understanding and transform approaches to dementia care. Participants gain practical tools, cultural awareness, and a person-centered mindset to deliver exceptional, dignified care at every stage of the dementia journey.


The seminar is ideal for healthcare professionals, health science students, and others working in clinical or care settings who want to strengthen their expertise and elevate their dementia care practice.

  • NCCDP application fee, $68 pp (corporate rate)

ADDC Seminars Include:

Things to Note:

  • This seminar is the required course to apply for the NCCDP Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) credential.
  • Certificate of completion is required to apply for the CDP.
  • Please review CDP qualifications and application fees at www.nccdp.org/cdp.
  • CEUs may be submitted to your state licensure board. (Please note: we cannot submit them on your behalf.)
